CUSTOM EARPIECES and assistive listening devices

Advanced technology for every purpose and use

Many activities, hobbies or careers require custom earpieces. Audibel Hearing Centers and Family Audiology regularly fit custom earpieces and plugs for virtually every purpose and use. Many different types of specialized earpieces can be made by taking a mold of the patient’s ear. These include:
  • Solid hearing protection plugs to decrease the volume of sounds in high-noise environments.
  • Swim plugs to block water from the canal during surface swimming. Great for kids with PE tubes or anyone with water sensitivity issues.
  • Several different types of hunting plugs are available, including baffled plugs that provide near-normal hearing until the gun is fired and then provide more sound attenuation to protect the hunter’s hearing.
  • Musicians monitors, including single driver, dual driver and triple driver. Gives the musician the ability to control the monitor at ear level.
  • Bluetooth® cellphone earpieces provide a more comfortable and secure fit than noncustom ear buds. Help to increase fidelity, cancel background noise, won’t fall out.
  • Earplugs for sleeping to decrease external noise and help you sleep more soundly.

Assistive listening devices for comfort and convenience

Assistive listening devices help with specific listening problems. We carry a variety of items for use with or without hearing aids:
  • FM systems • Amplified telephones
  • Vibrating alarm clocks and watches
  • Television assistance • Lighted doorbell alarms
  • Lighted telephone signals
